Kyle Sala

Kyle Sala started his culinary journey in 2004 when he was attending the University of Guelph. During his studies, he worked as a food and beverage manager at the prestigious Cutten Fields Golf Course, a private golf course, restaurant and catering venue. Six years working in this professional enviroment he learned many facets involved in high end catering, while also taking classes to excel his customer service skills. In 2013, Kyle came back to live and work in his hometown of Kingsville, ON, where he was employed by the Kingsville Golf and Country Club. Here is where the dream of one day running his very own catering service was first conceptualized. He worked at the Kingsville Golf Course for 3 years developing recipes and honing his culinary and catering attributes. In 2017, Kyle decided the time was right to branch off and start License to Sear Custom Catering with the vision of using the produce he remembered eating as a child while adding the flare he had learned over the past 20 years.
