Chef Kyle ignited his culinary career in 2004 while attending university in Guelph. He was a Food and Beverage Manager of a prestigious golf course during his tenure of six years.

Having honed and perfected his skills, Chef Kyle returned to his hometown of Kingsville in 2013, as Sous Chef at the Kingsville Golf and Country Club, where he created countless dishes that have earned him rave reviews.

Three years later, Chef Kyle embarked on the next chapter of his culinary journey with the purchase of his first mobile kitchen, and launched License to Sear, serving signature meals, with a flair twenty years in the making, incorporating local foods he enjoyed from his youth. Today, Chef Kyle stays busy feeding the hungry people of Essex County.
